My computer died....hard drive. I am just now getting all my shortcuts and logins straightened out. We now have automatic backup on an external drive. Jeez why must we learn things the hard way?
Late last week I got the OK from the ortho to begin working out again at 1/2 pace and 1/2 distance.
Maybe now I can get back to it. Finally.
Fish - I am so jealous about your boat, is it a kayak? That's my dream to live somewhere that I could kayak everyday....
Smoke- haven't caught up on the posts but hope you aren't working too hard. We have had so much rain that we gave up on garden. The only thing growing was grape Roma tomatoes, holy cow they loved the rain, and we have gazillions!
Pam - miss you, hope all is well.

Yeah my garden lo0ks like crap too, hardly any tomatos this year, cucumbers and snap peas, a few zuccini's. Hope to see you around.

you're back. good, good.
we finally bought an apple because we have lost more than one hard drive on our other machines. here's hoping.
glad to hear that your foot is doing better. on the basis of my reading and my personal experience, i would be rolling my legs daily on a padded piece of 4 inch plastic pipe and my feet on a tennis ball. smfr has worked for me.
also, ice.
this regime has worked wonders for my knees, and my reading makes me think that the causes, and thus the cures, are probably the same for the knees and for the feet.
got my first ocean kayak over twenty years ago. we are blessed that we do live where we can kayak every day. but we don't. the icebergs get in the way from november to april.
however the boat i am talking about is a racing shell. 26 feet long, 11 inches wide on the waterline, sliding seat, etc.
rowing, on a CII inside and on the water outside is just about the finest exercise - in my opinion.
also easy on the knees and on the feet.
keep fighting,
fish

Hey Eileen. I guess I've been away for almost as long as you have. I'm trying to get back too. I go through times where depression gets the best of me and this one has been very persistent.
Feeling a bit better today so going to take advantage of it and get a good workout in. That always makes me feel better.
You got me thinking I should back up my computer but I'll be honest, I dont have a clue how to do that. I guess I need to learn....my computer has been really slow lately and is probably about ready to be replaced.
Glad your back!
