How can they keep track of how many cases there are if they don't want to see you unless you are on the verge of death?

Just curious how that works.I dont think I have it.

Both Kara and I have been sick for over a week. We were finally feeling better yesterday. This morning I felt 100% better by 2 I'm on the couch with an awful cough and a fever.

When I first came down with this I called the doc just to be safe. Normally wouldn't call for the flu. Because of how fast it hit and because I have asthma they prescribed Tamaflu. So by the time I get the meds I'm doing better. Fever free without meds feeling pretty. Decided not to take the meds when I discovered the side effects were worse than my symptoms.

Anyway looking forward to feeling good again.

I don't have much faith in any of our medical system.

Yeah happens to me every single year. I've been feeling crappy for about a month now though I think I'm due to feel better soon! Kara has a terrible ear infection. I feel so bad for her.

it's fall. it's beautiful, but i always am depressed and feel lousy in the fall.

my seasonal allergies are worse in fall than at any other time.

lots of folks mistake seasonal allergies for colds, or miss the fact that they make any cold symptoms that much worse.

and N goes back to the petri dish of 20 odd third grade kids.

Never seems to fail with me when my allergies get really bad it always turns into a cold. I guess I attribute it to my immune system already being compromised. That's my theory anyway.

I started out at the end of August with a bladder/kidney infection. Didn't get it treated for almost 3 weeks because symptoms came and went. Won't wait next time. It was miserable. Soon as that healed up I got this cold/flu. At the cough stage now which I know from having 3 kids can last for some time. Still feeling better than I have in a long time. Funny how much better you're able to handle things when you are well physically.

This has nothing to do with this subject at all but this morning as I was laying in bed unable to fall back to sleep I felt Ryan next to me. He used to come into my room almost every night and we would talk about his night. I miss that...it felt good to feel him.
