Heart rate is coming down, average mid. 90's but he's still in a- fib so it fluctuates, that's an average. Possible cat scan today to look for blockage. He's just not well enough for the other procedures. I almost hope there is and they can put in a stint. If there is no blockage it probably means his heart is just worn down and he may never recover.
I got home last night at around 9. It's been a well needed break. Will be back again in a couple hours. May be there until Sunday. It is emotionally and mentally draining. I can't remember who came when. Taking lots of notes.
He hardly ever sleeps especially at night , tv on all night, his breathing is so labored I worry he's going to stop. It's like watching your baby sleep, always checking to be sure he's breathing. He asked if I was standing in front of him the other night, I said no, he said I see a black figure in from of me. Great.
Then he says tanner your hands are so cold don't put them on my leg. Tanner wasn't there, I wasn't touching his leg. Yes that stuff freaks me out.
I'm off again, thanks caring guys

I know it's tough but try to look out for you too! Oh congrats on the losing see there is a silver lining to all this. Keep us updated when ya can. well, perhaps he is somewhat disorientated because he is not sleeping.
sort of a waking dream state.
take care of yourself, too.
we pray.

I'll try to be brief. He has bronchitis which he got while in the hospital last time. At a new, read better hospital now. Basically all the meds he's on are just messing him up. The ones that fix his heart are causing his kidneys to fail, and now we are told he does have some form of lung disease. Smoked till 1994. So they are thinking pace maker so they can stop some of the meds that control which are causing problems for his kidneys. That would be done this week but first they need to stabilize him and get rid of his cough. I don't guys, he looks horrible. I'm scared to death and just want to cry, but I can't, what's new. I just hate all this.

I had 2 hours of sleep Saturday night which actually took place Sunday morning between 6-8am, about 2 hours very interrupted sleep last night. He was up most the night coughing. And his room is freezing, now I keep my thermostat set at around 60-63 all winter, except when the kids whine about ice sickles on their noses, then I'll go up to 67. Anyway, point is if it's cold to me you know it's cold. But that's how he wants it. I hope that doesn't mean anything bad that he wants it so cold, no fever so not sure.
I have a hour an a half drive home tonight, already dreading it.
Just unloading....

Just have a minute. It was scary this morning. He was unresponsive and his color was horrible, he was ashen, they were calling everyone in the room. His nurse finally had had enough of waiting so age tracked down the docs and as of right now he has a catheter in his neck and they are doing dialysis. They are hoping this will help.
