got the thread date wrong. went backward to 9 instead of forward to 11.
wishful thinking.
away for a few days.
the boats are still out, but it depends on that last few glorious days if we get them.
lots of walking.
so now i go to the gym at 62 for machines and free weights.

first workout of the season at gym at 62 stationary bike 15 minutes row 10 minutes cable work 15 minutes it is time to put the boats up for the winter. i had hoped for some indian summer, but forecast is not promising. i am sorry to go inside, but at the gym at 62 we have ... Aerobic: Old tunturi stationary bike w 35 lb flywheel Old model B C2 rowing machine Old NordicTrac Pro ski machine Strength: 500+ lbs Olympic free weights (one needs 500+ to be able to keep multiple bars loaded for circuit work. trap bar deads & straight bar bench for eg. straight bar trap bar body solid rack w cable station. 5 - 60 lb power blocks (dumbbells are the way to go at the beginning and at the end. i fear am getting to the end) flexibility, range of motion, mixed purpose: commercial grade total gym heavy bag speed bag indian clubs 1, 3, 5 lbs rebounder i'm leaving stuff out, i am sure, like the jump ropes and the aerobic steps and dvds i can't use anymore. my knees are feeling better, so i hope to be able to do some squats this year.

stretching & flexibility
indian clubs SB 15 C2 11 (2000 meters by their measure) Cable work beginning with rotator cuff stuff. assisted pull ups. Military presses.
a little late juggling with weighted balls. fun, have to keep my skills for the little ones.

sb nt cable hex bar deads 135 bench press 95 1 arm bent over rows 40
clubs stretching
want to get some progressive resistance stuff. push pull eg. the bench and the rows.
probably go way down in weight on all to go up in reps. as for the deads, let's see how the knees tolerate them.

trying to start at a relatively low resistance for the first few weeks to pre condition. looking for strength/endurance program.
