row yellow spring is breezy and the water is cold. the yellow boat is an Alden Star, and can be rowed in relative rough water the red boat wants flat water.
spring tree foliage comes in with different shades of greens and yellows, and even reds. we usually take a foliage tour through NH.

row red i put in at a small shallow spot near a bridge. the spot is privately owned. for other boaters and fishers and swimmers use the spot too. for years now i have been surprised at just how much many of those other users abuse the property, either by leaving their garbage, or by tearing the ground up as they put in and take out their boats. as of yesterday the owner had enough and posted the land. i gave the fellow a call to ask his permission to cross the property. we had a good conversation. he thinks the water belongs to everyone, and he knows there is no other access. but the mess they left two days ago was just too much. i saw the mess, but had not put the bags i use to clean up in the truck. he told me if i keep it clean, i can use it.
he's a good guy, but people are such ungrateful pigs that i understand why he can't take their lack of respect not only for him as a property owner, but also for the property itself.

I concur! There is no respect anymore. Everything is an entitlement, do whatever you want to.
