Maybe mow this afternoon. Case meeting for Dad @ nursing home. I hate this. Looks like hit therapy ends July 14. He really can’t come home yet. Really tough.

"worked 12 hours and then took care of some business, " =
worked 12 hours and then worked some more
I am a NYC boy from the time when it was not a terrible place to live. My Jewish friends taught me about brisket.
I hope your brisket was good, because if it was, even though your day was long and hard, at least you had a great sandwich.

i try to make a point of refreshing or replacing the blade because it makes such a difference. sounds like you're ahead of me on this. i spend time sharpening all the blades i use on my cutting tools. the smell of burning wood is the undeniable proof that the chain or the blade is too dull. sometimes i seem to smell burning wood when i am thinking. i guess i am not as sharp as i would like to be.
how is Dad ? what's next ?

Finally mowed at home! Supposed to have showers the next couple dayz so I figured I’d better do it.
Dad is ok I suppose, his therapy stops next week. Really don’t think we can bring him home yet. He’s not good enough to be by himself. He’s so so with it all. I’m not happy about any of it. Going to talk to someone this week and see if I can get any other suggestions on what if any options I have.

a few fellows have played golf on a couple of outings a year for the past it's getting to be 40 years. so we went out yesterday. i have never ingested so much water without having to water the trees. sunny and the temp was high 90s but the humidity was low. so i must have sweated it out and it evaporated. i was pretty comfortable. i have a really good sun hat with a suspension system (of my own design) that keeps space between the hat and my head so the air can circulate. brim not as wide as i would like, but covers the ears and neck.
i wish my golf was as good as my hat.
i did make a putt.
