6/4 row red 6/5 rain 6/6 row red osprey at eagles nest. saw eagle 6/4, but not at nest. fauna seems scarce. did see snapper burying eggs.
back very tender. long story re doc, but comes down to wait and see.

row red overcast, but thin enough that the water shimmers in the wake of the boat and the oar ionics are highlighted.
sharp twinges stretching after row. single lonely loon. six adults w about twenty very young goslings.

bittern is a heron family bird. smaller. very private, sightings rare according to the book. and it was a bittern.
row red. geese and goslings, lots of them. solitary loon call.

got back yesterday from visit with granddaughter. Her parents too, but there is a price to everything.
today row red. it is so beautiful watched a heron glide in and land in the lily pads.
mow.
back relatively not bad. foot not unbearable. (play on words there that i didn't intend, but i'll take it)
stretching is essential.

row red mowing and grounds work at 81
took the tools to CT and trimmed hedges, cut down a tree, and cleared over grown grounds w brush cutter. i don't mind the work, but the son in law never should have let it get where it is.

friend had surgery yesterday. survived. she now has spinal fusion of her entire spine after multiple surgeries over 20 years.
degenerative disc disease.
