i saved the container soil from the hanging plants over a few years and now have a 60 gal drum full.
by the end of the season those planters were potbound. although we did feed the planters a few times a season.
do you think that soil is good for making planters ?

I have a neighbor that has piles of wood chips that have been breaking down… been using that for the bottom and putting garden soil on top.
I built another one for potatoes but it’s been raining so I didn’t get a chance to fill it yet.
I always mix in old basket soil back in.

just learned a new word
herx
oh, baddie !
i assume you have read all the stuff at amazon at a minimum.
lots of input from affected folks.
some times the magic works, and that is certainly worth a try.
i would probably buy empty caps at the drug store to get it down if i found it horrible.
how did i not know about you and lime ?
just searched the site, and came up with nothing.
whatsup ?

Somewhat confused here.
I may not have mentioned, I went to a naturopath that does iridology. It showed up in the scan. I go back this Thursday for the actual results. The Lyme showed up in the scan…. I was also told years ago when I had blood scan( don’t remember what it was called) that I had it at some point as well.

when you said you got Tick Recovery from Amazon i went and looked it up and read the reviews.
more than one poster mentioned "herx" which i assume is an abbreviation for Jarisch–Herxheimer reaction.
be well, dear Smoke.

the winter was cold enough and with not a lot of snow cover. we had hoped for a good tick year. no such luck. we are overrun with the things. i strip on the front porch and check my seams for the things. still getting at least one a day.
so, how are you doing ?

I’m doing fine. Go back to naturopath tomorrow to get the results from the eye scan… Maybe she can give me some insight ( no pun intended)

So naturopath says I’m not in horrible shape. Says I have EBV Epstein Bar, thyroid is messed up, and the lymes. Suggested some supplements to help balance out my hormones. Keep eating clean and see how it goes.
