You know Smoke I think thats about it. Just variations on a theme.
Here's what I use:
Holding db's, one or both hands, one or two legged. Toes in, straight, and out so you hit it in all directions.
Seated calf raises...hold some db's on your legs and raise away...or a bar. I used to put a board between my legs and bar..but then again I'm a baby.
You could also do standing calf raises with a BB across your back or just holding it down in front of you like if you were doing shurgs.
Thats about all I have come up with for a home gym. I'm sure you could do more if went to a gym and used a sled or something.
Hope that helps.

Calves are notoriously difficult to grow.
If we all work on the weigh in posts, our calves will take care of themselves.

Smoke, When doing any type of calf raise in the standing position place the balls of your feet on a board or any other raised surface to get more extension and stretch in the exercise. Like Fish said calves are resistant to training and require a lot of high rep exercises to obtain the resultls you desire. Other things that you probably do but work the calves nicely are any type of incline walking, stair climbers, etc. I always thought that wearing high heels was a great calf exercise .

And I bet you have Fantastic calves from wearing those heels!
Thx for the info Jack, I do use a board and have an incline on the treadmill.

Smoke I can attest to the fact that he looks great i heels...ask Kara...and yes Jack thats all I'll say...for now. We'll see how nice you are to me today. My calves were pretty easy to grow, in fact they are the only part of my body that has any definition left. I'm left handed though so that probably has a lot to do with it.

I wish I would have edited that last sentence before I posted. I'd like to modify that last statement to read " wearing heels would make an excellent calf exercise for women" and for the record Pam has great looking calves(legs) .

This is a tough crowd. I'm really going to have watch what I say.......I'll just have to grunt, spit and scratch for a while ........posting some more impressive weight numbers might help too. For now just picture me in Converse All-stars with a hairy back.
