Felt off on Thursday, really bad by Friday night, peaked Saturday and Sunday and am now finally rid of the fever and headache. I plan to just walk today, not sure if I can do much more than that!

I am serious, how many calories do you think a person can burn coughing? You know the cough so hard your eyes water and can't catch your breath coughing jags. All day, all night. This should count for something.

And yes, I am taking something. Mucinex DM.

Nancy and I have both had it.

unusual symptoms - bronchial irritation, low grade fever, slight headache,

and coughing fits. Unexpected, can't isolate the trigger, blue in the face, coughing fits.

this plague last a loooooong time. three weeks or more. and can recur. i got it on or about 12/15 and i am just getting really better. Nancy is about a week - 10 days behind me.

I knew I should have stayed away! Starts with a sore throat right?...yup, dang internet virus's.

Couldn't seem to put my all into my workouts the last 2 days..perhaps this is why.

Hoping to keep this at bay..I know its there but don't feel like total crap yet.

I'm sorry. For me it started with a headache that wouldn't stop, then a tight throat (didn't really hurt till later) and the neverending useless cough. If that's what you got my suggestions are Mucinex DM and if you are at an early stage Airborne. Good luck!

Popped some vitamin C, zinc cold ez thingy's and a Coricidin D...lets hope for the best.

Ours involved only the bronchial irritation at first. Rasping wheezing breath and blue-faced coughing, but no sore throat. The breathing thing was really dramatic, but there was no lung congestion or distress.

The coughing was non productive, and what little was produced was clear.

Then, because of the coughing fits I think, we got headaches.
There was a low grade fever too.

And then I found out that lots of other people in the area had it too. Heard it at the courthouse, Even heard a clerk at the store wondering aloud about it.

Because the symptom set is not one that would ordinarily send one to the local Leach, I have not found anyone got a diagnosis.
