TLC network has had all the "fat shows" on this afternoon, 1/2 ton man, Big in America, I ate my wife..I mean I ate 33,000 calories" Did promote me to get on the TC while I was watching and get in another 30 min workout.
What I'm having a problem with is the comercials..Applebees and Denny's Grand Slam isn't exactly appropriate advertising during these shows..or any as far as I'm concerned. Also drug companies like for asthma..."caused by inflamation" hasn't what we eat been linked to asthema. The cereal ad about the High Fructose Corn Syrup being ok in moderation..KEY WORD THERE "MODERATION"..It's in freakin everything! I personally think it should be banned all together.
They are saying that 50% of americans are obese..There are enough statistics out there that show why we have gotten fat over the last 50 years...why can't someone do something about this...why aren't there the same number of advertisements about how to eat the right things as there are about eating the wrong ones....People saying..me eating bad doesn't effect you..no..yeah it does, I'm paying the bills for uninsured medical care of all the disease's linked to poor health. If we spent half the amount of money on teaching people to be healthy as we do on drugs we would be ahead of the game.
Ok I'm done for the moment..not really cause this stuff is really ticking me off.
