Anyone up for a challenge?
Fish..at the other site we occasionally would do a weekly/bi-weekly challenge. Water was always a stand by, but anything is fair game. could go by most improved on a particular exercise.
What do you guys think?
Any suggestions?

Here's some ideas, maybe not for everyone but fit into my goals... - no processed foods 5 days a week - food that is close to the way mother nature created it
- make and post a new recipe once a week (with nutritional values)
- count steps in a day in addition to regular exercise - in other words adding movement to the work day (my job has me sitting all day)
- water (always and issue for me)

Pam and Fish chime in if you have any ideas...we can pick something and plan to start on Sunday?

I like the steps thing. When we did that before it really got me moving. Would need to go in search of my ped. We still can't find so much.
Water would be good too. I just need to get moving.

i have a pedometer somewhere.
i know i can do water. we just got another bunch of lemons that i juice into warm water during the day.
perhaps it should be ez at first, to get the 21 day rule going.
you know, ladies, we might include mind as well as body.
agree on a book, pages a day. exchange of insights.
practicing a musical instrument, reading poetry, meditating, praying.
i'm in.

So what do you think guys...want to go with the pedometer and water for a week?
I think it should be all steps, including workouts. Most water. Try to post up at least every 2 days. Start Sunday to Saturday
Hows that sound?
I need to get a battery for my pedometer.

ok i just got the news since the isp was sick for the past coupl-a-3. have to find the pedo but i'll start the water right now. by the way, does water mean water ? i drink a pint of skim milk daily. i suppose you guys are going to be sore sports and not permit beer. what about fruit juice .. aka wine ? i'll get at least a quart of H2O any road. what are the pedo rules ? is it fair to wear it on the ski machine ? book, Smoke ? if i can't get the book, the subject is all over the net. the players without the book would be fact checking on the net !!! Kathleen and her friend got a nice write up in last Sunday's NYTimes. www.nytimes.com/2009/02/15/nyregion/connecticut/15colct.htmlhere comes a storm, fish

For this week I think it should be only water counted...Fish you did mention lemon..that sort of stuff is fine, sorry no beer this time...might make for an interesting challenge this summer though. Pedometer is from the time you get up..till you go to bed, workout steps count. The book is By Gabriel Cousens "There is a cure for Diabetes"..... Pam & Eileen do you want to do this one or do you have another idea?
