I found these on my last trip to Whole Foods. - Skyr
this is a Icelandic style thick yogurt. No fat, lots of protein low in calories and a small tub keeps me full from breakfast till lunch. The only downside I see is the cost. It taste like yogurt with just a bit more bite. It's sweetened with agave syrup (lower glycemic) skyr.com/ or www.skyr.is/
- Truvia
this is a natural zero calories sweetner made from Stevia. I tried in my tea and coffee. While expensive one packet sweetens 3-4 cups to my taste. Not bad. www.truvia.com/about.html

we've seen the products, but have not tried them.
great store. we are lucky enough to have a health food store right in town, but they can't carry a fraction of Whole Foods inventory.
have you ever made your own yogurt ?
dead easy
i don't even scald the milk. have tried it both ways, and only rarely have had the failure that scalding is supposed to protect against. i guess scalding is not the right term, technically, but i skip the heating step.
best way i have found to make yogurt is the standard canning bath mason jars rig, in a lukewarm bath in a tight oven with the light on.
can control consistency pretty well, and sharpness too.
we have weened ourselves from sugar. have not had a sugar bowl on the counter for at least the last 15 years.
nancy now is enthusiastic about cleaning products labeled "Mrs. Meyer's ..."
i must admit that the stuff works, smells ok, and is as green as one can be, but i favor "eau du clorox" myself.
