I tired box squats with bands for the first time in a while and I think I may have to drop these from my list. I hurt my knee last time and did it again this time. I didnt hurt it unracking but while squatting. There was just too much pressure on the inside on my left knee. I did 4 working sets and packed it in. It took me too long to rehab my knees for me to take any chances with them.
[glow=red,2,300]DE Squat / assistance[/glow]
Treadmill 15 minutes (walking and sprints) Stretching 10 minutes / Windmills 2x10x2
Situps on GHR 2x12xBW 2x10x25 (my lower back hurts when the plate in on my chest so I held it a bit lower)
Box Squats (16" box; Purple Bands; 47%) Warmup Sets: 1x10xBW 1x8x45 1x6x65 1x4x85 Working Sets: 4x2x100 (this is it for this one unless I can find a better way to do them)
GHR 2x10xBW 2x8x10
Band Adductor Pulls (pb) 3x20xpb
Band Abductor Ext (pb) 3x20xpb
Wrist Curls (behind my back) 2x30x45 (I held the bar after my last rep on my last set until it dropped out of my hands)
Aside from the box squats everything went pretty good. It felt good to be back at it. I havent worked out in about a week now.
Starting Sunday I'll be back to my old schedule. I'll be adding back in my benching days but wont be doing any speed work or max effort work until my shoulder is better.
I hope ya'll have a great weekend.

Have your tried doing them with the mini-bands? The first couple of times I did bench presses with bands I looked like someone hooked me up to 20,000 volts. The mini's provide the resistance curve change without too much pressure. Just an idea...

Not only have I not tried them it's never even occured to me to do that. The more obvious a solution is the less likely I am to find it.
Thanks Chris, I'll try them that way next week.
