Speed box squats( 12.75" box, purple bands,51% and nothing else)--12x2x205; GHR--2x20xBW,1x12x10,1x7x25; Reverse hypers--2x10(no weight),2x10x20,50(just something to loosen up my back); Kneeling ab pulldowns--1x8x80,90,100,100,100,100; Hammer curls--3x12x30; Tri pushdowns(minibands)--3x25. I know the rev. hypers were a joke but I just threw these in to see if they would help my lower back. The Squats don't bother me,it's just anything that involves bending over that really tells my age . So,I'm a moderator,I always thought I was a conservative .

I'll just start out with the questions, why 12 sets instead of 8? Actually thats the only question I have. You got off easy this time. Nice workout kid...you're too young to have lower back problems. We need to get that fixed! Yep your a moderator and I expect you and Chris to get creative here. Last time I tried I got an "Oh geez Mom, what did you do now!" from Ryan. ;D How's your back this morning?

Pam,there is some discrepancy in some of the Westside reccomendations, depending on who you read and if the philosophy changes. Some places Louie recommends doing 12 sets or a 12,10,8 as you wave up in weight and Dave has recommended sets. To answer your question.......I did the 12 sets for some variety, I wanted to try a little wider stance for the last 4 sets(didn't think of this until after the 8th set , and I missed a speed day and figured a little extra work wouldn't hurt me. My back is sore and stiff this morning but I'm going to get that better. I'm going to go back on the Ibuprofen again and start ice and heat if it bothers me after tomorrow's workout. Thanks for letting me off easy . As an Administratrix, you have the wisdom of Solomon .
