Well the weather has not been cooperating...Friday was a wash...was supposed to rain Saturday and ended up being beautiful out, finally started Sunday morning, got about 3/4 of one side done..calling for rain on & off for the next week or so...I thought it was April Showers...no one ever said anything about May.
Good news is I haven't fallen off the roof yet Fish. and I think they pack bundles of shingles heavier than they used to!
I did manage to get another section of garden built on Saturday so it wasn't exactly a wasted day. Cut asparagus 3 times already, I'm thinking about planting another bed of those...can't beat fresh cut asparagus!

I've actually spoken to enough damaged units to have some idea about the most common cause of falling.
For the careless, it's carelessness, for the careful, it's fatigue.
Especially catching the sole of your boot on the surface because your knee didn't come up because you're dead tired.
I've talked to guys who have had this happen while getting down from the bed of a truck. Boot scuffs and catches and they are face down. One guy broke his neck.
I've actually had it almost happen to me, but for the conversations I had with these guys.
Be careful, Smoke,

I've said it before and I'll say it again, I want to be just like you when I grow up. I'd love to know how to do all that kind of stuff. Not that I'd like to do it would just be nice to have the knowledge. Are you doing all the work yourself? Sure wish we lived closer, I'd have Jack give you a hand

that george forman five plate grill we got ?
on the deep plate, butter and white wine, a layer of asparagus.
maybe five minutes, just enough to get the tips tender-ish.
then a layer of fish fillets over the asparagus,
flash. a minute or 90 seconds or so, just enough to cook the fish.
really quite good.
asparagus still barely crisp, fish firm but flaky.
don't fall off that roof, girl, i'll be glad to hear the job is done.
