Reporting in...
Good stuff - went on two mini vacations, visited with college friends from 30 years ago. Funny we all switched from beer drinkers to red wine.
Not so good stuff - my foot (plantar faciitis) really has been acting up. Finally went to the doctor, he recommended 3 weeks bed rest. Get real! So I am banned from jogging, walking, elliptical, bike etc for 3 weeks. I can swim but i don't have a pool. So i's upper body weights for exercise. i am taking prescription strength ibuprofen (sp?) and am wearing a brace. Hope it works! Work has been crazy so it isn't helping with diet. So the long and short of it is I need to heal and get disciplined.
Thanks for tracking me down. I feel better for having confessed. I did discover on my mini vacation that kayaking made my foot feel better, must be the way the foot rest stretches my foot. I love kayaking. Wish I had better access to smooth water.

Thx for the update, Glad you were able to get some vaca in. Did you notice that you didn't age much but your friends all looked older? lol I did the last class reunion I went to.
Hope your foot comes around ok, you'll have to get a Kayak and set it up in your living room for therapy.
I can relate to the long hours and not so great eating.
Glad your ok overall.

went and read about pf and it reads very much like pfps, which is to say that they don't know what they are talking about, but the magic 8 ball says signs point to yes.
self-myofascial release seems to have done much good for my pfps, and there are a number of suggested techniques for plantar fascitis - the good old tennis ball to start.
also icing seems to help me. i made a mixture of rubbing alcohol and water as directed over the net. it is very cold but permits the container to conform to the site.
and very regular gentle stretching, of course.
good luck.
