DE Speed Bench / assistance Flat Speed Bench 2x15x45(m) 9x3x65(c/m/w) Flat DB Tri Ext 8x8x8 Superset: Side Lat's 3x10x5 Front Raise 3x10x5 Concentration Curls 1x15,12,10x10 DB Shrugs 3x12x30 Lat Pulldowns 3x12x45(may have been 60, I'll have to go down and check later) I took it easier today. I think I over did it on Sunday. Everything feels good so far. Not much warmup time, I just jumped around a lot and looked like a fool, stretched a bit and hit it. I actually did accomplish what resembled speed on my bench. I know, with 65 lbs and no chains or bands who couldnt, but I'll get there. Just you wait! Time for supper here. I hope ya'll had/have a great workout.

Pam,the 65#'s is just about what you need for speed day for weight. Even if you used bands I bet you still would have had speed. When you do start the bands again don't start anything over 65.
The best news is no shoulder problems. Keep everything at the same weight next week and then we'll talk about upping the tri and lat weight. Your BB bench weight is fine and it will be a while before you start using bands. I'll get you some more supplementary exercises to do after your core lift if you pass the shoulder test next week.
It's just good to see you benching again. Don't get greedy and take it easy until you get the green light to put the petal to metal. Keep it up sunshine, you're getting there and it's closer than you think.

To be honest I dont think I want to use bands until my shoulder is much much better, if not completely better. Although right now, I'm starting to wonder if it ever will be. I'll be playing it smart from now on, my shoulder is doing good this morning. It still hurts where it normally hurts but nothing new hurts and its not sore at all. Yes, I am telling you the truth! ;D
