Reading a lot about how its the best way to lose weight. So when I do the cardio boxing on the WII I set it up so I do say the heavy bag which is punching the bag as fast as you can for a total of between 300-600 punches. Gets my heart rate up that's for sure. Then I will do targets, obviously a slower paced exercise then next I do a combo of targets and bag or go back to just the bag.
So question is would this be considered a HIIT workout?

When I was doing interval training on the TM I would keep stepping it up Do a warm up and then increase the speed for 5 min, come back for 3 min up a bit higher each time.
5 min 3.5 mph warm up 5 min @ 4.0 3 min @ 3.8 5 min @ 4.3 3 min @ 4.0 5 min @ 4.5 3 min @ 4.0 ect...
I would think as long as your raising your heart rate back up each time it would be.
but then again what do I know.
