I got into a high rep phase from the get go and kept it up throughout the entire workout............BORIIIING . Suspended chain bench press(top 6")--warmups,1x3x185,225,275,300; 1x1x320,340,360,370,380,400*,410(F).....first time doing these from chains instead of the pins for this distance. Using the chains probably adds 20-30#'s because the chains will rock enough to get the weight moving. So even though I got a 400 it's not as impressive as it would have been off the pins; Standing BB tri extensions--1x15x45,65,85: Tri pushdowns(short bar)--1x15x80,90,90; Lat pulldowns(med. grip)--1x15x90,90,100; Face pulls--3x15x80; DB side raise--3x12x25; Cuff work--1x25x5 ea.,rear & front delts(thumbs up); I had almost forgotten how to count to 15 . This one went fast even with my clean up activities thrown in the mix.

What do you mean "Using the chains probably adds 20-30#'s because the chains will rock enough to get the weight moving." ? First off I'm going to assume you mean it adds that to your lift. How could that be though? I could see if the chain was moving up and down but with it moving back and fourth how could that add weight. If anything I would think that would make it harder. Explain this one to me. I'm glad one of use is getting a workout in although I have to tell you with the work I'm doing I think I'm getting in my workouts plus a few 100 more. I got all the sod pulled up..what a job with all those darn roots from the trees. Today I am going to put down the edging and then I get to haul 6 yards of rock from the front yard to the back. I have a feeling this is going to be a long day. Oh and the pool is still brown! I dont know what they did to it. I think they add too much clorine. I have to call them when they open. The kids want to get in and swim..I wouldnt mind a quick dip either. Although with no heater I may not make it in. I will tell you whats going on with the darn gas line later. Well let me tell you now in hopes you can tell me how much more it will cost. This is hte short version, the city wont just swap out my gas meter for a bigger one or one that can handl emore pressure..dont understand this gas stuff unless its coming from the boys. Anyway so they have to see if they can find a meter or regulator that will work outside otherwise he said they have to tear down the ceailing in my familyroom to get at the gas line. Please tell me they wont have to do that. Do they make regulators for outside use? They apparently have to change the pressure for the house once they do what they have to do. Anyway a job that was running us about $350 will now be I dont know how much...do you have any idea? Hey I went and got all my deck stuff. Went to Menards instead of HD..I dont like HD. Anyway you were right on with the cost of the deck. We did get the composite but you already know that. Ok enough of this, it has nothign at all to do with your workout. I need to get my hair done and get to the store. Be good.

Pam,the veritical or rocking movement of the chains even the slightest bit gets the weight moving and cchanges the dead load to a dynamic load, breaks the inertia of the weight and once you get something moving it's a lot easier to push. It may not seem like much but it will enable you to push more weight. I don't know about the gas regulators. We just got natural gas in Lebanon about 2 years ago so it's new territory for me. All I've been concerned with is not hitting their lines during excavation work. I just called our local gas company and of course no one was in but I asked them to call me back. Maybe I can find out something for you. I'll let you know just as soon as I find out. I may have to leave you a message if it's late. I still don't have internet at home, the old gateway is DOA. It seems you can see the light at the end of the tunnel on your pool work. I hope it's not a train . I'll have another workout for you this evening. You're going to owe me a few .

Owe you a few? A few what Jack? A few workouts? Just exactly what do I owe you a few of? I'll be honest, I dont feel a bit guilty for missing workouts the last week. I've done so much lifting and pulling and everything else. I just got done hauling rock and decided to work my adductors, so to move the rock I would "scoop" it with the inside of foot...I'm going to feel that tomorrow. Good news, rock is almost all around the pool, bad news, I ordered WAY too much. I am going put it around my plants in the front yard. I've wanted rock there for a long time so now I have it. The darn, and yes I want to say dam* driver just dumped the rock all across the driveway. I was so mad. I have to run now but I'll keep you posted.
