They have an updated version of this forum that we can can try and when we do we have a chance to rename the forum. I don't like Powerlifting Etc, mostly because we don't PL anymore. So hoping you guys can help come up with a new name.
Once we do I'll submit it and they will copy this forum and set up a beta version for us to try. This one will still be here and be the one we use though. Then if we like it we can change and if we don't nothing changes. We might be able to get more members if we switch. I did submit our forum to their directory yesterday so that might help too.
Anyway I came up with Health Nutz! Sue had Fish and the 2 chubby chicks and Jake and the fat chicks. I also had Two fat chicks trying to lose weight with their fish, I cleaned that up a bit from its original version.
So I need suggestions guys I'm not good at this as you may notice.

I don't know, we need something that says what we do I think fish and chicks is cute but not sure it would get us many new members. How do you like health nutz? Also the name will be the URL so we don't want it long.
Beyond fitness and health nutz are all I have. What else do you have?
Fish what do you think?

i think you gals should give some thought to who you want to get to check in and stay on, viz., your target.
the name should be something that comes up on a google search to get them here.
as for keeping them here, we three have been here so long that our conversations on any given subject include posts from across years.
something can be put together that will capture their interest on the first visit and get them to post. then it will be the replies that keep them coming.
so i think maybe you want to set up a name in order to get them in the door and restructure the categories with some seed posts to get them involved.
i will be ok with anything.
fish is an androgynous name, so i won't scare anyone off.

Great ideas fish, that's what I was thinking with the name. So who is our target? 30+? Since we nutrition plays a big role in this I didn't just want it to something like well powerlifting. Thats why I was thinking Beyond Fitness or Health Nutz...doesn't put us in the only working out category.
Now as for restructuring that's a great idea but how? And what kind of seed posts. This just isn't something I'm good at. Fish how'd you feel about me setting you up as an Admin? That way you could add what you think and we could see how we like it? Not sure if that's something you have time for or an interest in. Or jus maybe what your ideas would be to restructure it. We are in for a big snow storm here this weekend so it might be a good time for me to play around with it.
