You know it is weird. We do seem to have a connection.
I swear to gosh jj are more of a wo than I ever thought. Never thought my arms and upper back would get sore. I really like doing them for an interval type quick wo. I do however go down in the number I can do real quick lol

lemme tell you, ladies, calisthenics are great exercise.
when i played football, we did a standard set before every practice. wind sprints after.
if you put in squat thrusts, push ups, squat thrusts w push ups, hip rotations both ways, spread leg toe touches w arms held fixed horizontal, spinning jacks, running in place with high knees, and a few others, you can get fit.
i did the old royal canadian 5bx workout for years and years. calisthenics and running.
there was also the xbx for women.
let's see if i can find them on the net...
working ...
got it !!!!
google royal canadian exercise. if you get the same screen as i did you should see pdf files for 5 bx and x bx.
download and print.
i can testify that this is very good stuff. very good indeed. this was my morning routine for years when i lived in nyc. i'd like to say that i made it to 6-A+, but i'm pretty sure i did, but i remember it was tough. in any event i was as fit as could be.
i recommend this program highly. if i had knees, i would start it again.

So Fish..iyo...what is a respectable number of jacks?
One of the salesmen that comes to the shop said he used to do 100 every night...He had to stop in the last couple years due to some health issues but he was doing that when he was well into his mid 70's.

Oh and not to worry about me doing 100 too soon...If I did anymore I probably never would get to 81!

Sorry late in posting but unfortunately this will be my last post here for just a couple weeks, kind of have a jacks related injury. Yeah yeah yeah I know fish you warned us. It's nothing major, I stupidly did my jumping jacks barefoot. It was just easier for me. But I seem to have reactivated my case of planter fascasis. Going to take a couple weeks off of doing Jack's, ice it to let it heal but I will be back 85 was my last total.
