I couldn't get on last night but it's just as well as I was really perturbed about my failure with the floor press. I'm coming closer to identifying my problem and think I have some solutions. One thing I'm going to do is take a couple a days off to recuperate, get my mind right, get a second opinion from another bencher and then put my plan into action. Floor press(close grip)--warmups,1x1x185,205,225,245,260,270(F),270(F)............fudge!!!!!!!!!!!; Pin press(6" off chest)--1x8x225; JM press--1x15x135,1x12x145,155; Rev. BB shrugs--1x20x135,1x15x185,205; Seated cable rows(wide grip)--1x15x120,140,150; 1x12x160,170,180; Front DB raise--1x15x25,1x12x30,1x10x35; Cuff work(shoulder horn)--2x20x5. Yes,I'm a little sore in my upper back and shoulders this morning . Thought for the day--"A person all wrapped up in themselves makes a small bundle"--Ben Franklin.

Well I still think that was a good workout, although I understand how you feel. Nice job kiddo. I was going to do an ME Bench day today...yes its early but Ryan wants to workout with me on my ME squat. Maybe I should do pin presses rather than board presses because I always have a heck of a time keeping the boards on my chest unless someone is holding them. My disappointment for the day...still not sore from my workout. Maybe its because with all the other work I did my body didnt notice I took time off...hows that for a theory. Dont you dare shoot that one down Jack! Well I need to get the kidlets up and ready for school and get myself together. I am starting to dread sleeping because of my darn hands. I am thinking that maybe a splint at night would almost be better than during the day because I would twist it at night which is what wakes me up. Anyway you have yourself a great morning Jack.

Pam,use your minibands to hold the boards. They really work well and they keep them from moving. Just wrap them around you and your ready to go. Another option to pin presses is the suspended chain press. Try these sometime and definately try that splint at night. I've got one and I'd be glad to send it to you. Your theory is as good as any and considering the circumstances I wouldn't try to begin to discuss alternative possibilities.
