You guys heard about this? It's supposed to be a great anti inflamitory. I add turmeric to practically everything. Anyway usually just use organic turmeric but bought some curcumin capsules for Jack. Had a horrendous migraine the other day, the kind that makes you sick. So decided to take a couple curcumin caps just to see if it would help, after all it's an anti inflamitory. Within 10-15 mins pain was cut in half. Took another one and within about another 15-20 mins it was about 80% gone. Never expected that.
Almost looking forward to another migraine to see if it was just a fluke or not. Really amazing how much it worked though.

NC has had many migraines, too many. since she stopped working they have abated. stress there is a med that she takes if she feels it coming (the aura) and had the med available that very much alleviates the headache. is jack sure these are migraines ? migraine.com/migraine-treatment/imitrex/

I'm the one with the migraines fish. Bought them for jack because he's not a fan of turmeric. I've had migraines for years. I don't get any warning, but when they come on if I can get some Advil in right away I can deal with them. Doc gave me some other meds once but didn't like how they made me feel. I've cut out the Advil now. would rather take something with no side effects if I can. Not trying to be hippie dippie but once you learn how things affect your body it's easier to stay away from them.
Kara had a headache and tried the cucurmin and it worked for her too.
I tell ya fish, I had one of my super bad migraines and it was unbelievable how well it worked. Might be worth a try for nc, can't hurt.

I get headaches when I'm out in the heat a long time, so have had a few, worked on all of them. Did have another migraine that it didn't work for though. Nutritionist said to take 300 mg of magnesium glycinate and 2 fish oil next time.
Turmeric is a great anti inflammatory I use it almost every day.

I usually wait until my head is absolutely killing me before I take anything. Might have to take it as soon as I feel it coming on.
