Update

So viewing is set for Monday and funeral Tuesday for Ken's Mom. I was down to see him and his Dad last night.

Got a call about 9am this morning that they had to call 911 for his Dad...chest pains...Hoping it was just the stress of the last couple weeks so they took him in and did some tests.

They can't seem to get things regulated so they are sending him to the local heart hospital.

He has a history of heart issues. They don't think it was a heart attack at this point but he may need a stint or angioplasty (SP)

Doubt that he will be released for the funeral.

My Dad finally said something to me that he has been having more trouble with his stomach..some sort of lump now.

If I knew having parents was going to be this hard I don't know if I would have had them!

Keep us in your thoughts pls.

i don't know how she is doing. nc talks to her daily, but the conversations are very short. nc is concerned, but not alarmed.

for her part, nc is wounded.

it is hard to say without seeming to miss the point, and change things from about others to about me, but i have been through so many of these things that i think i understand just how hard these things hit.

sometimes i think i have scars where a lot of other people don't know they have skin.

and it is in the context of those scars and that understanding that i offer my sympathy to you and yours, Smoke.

the pain of these things is almost too much to bear.

but we keep the faith.

Thx Fish. The battle wounds are building the older we get..I don't think I like it!

On a brighter note, Kens Dad is doing better..he had a 95% blockage where an old stint was..They fixed him up and he should be out in a day or so.

Funeral was today, short & sweet. Got to see alot of family I haven't seen since Ken & I broke up...was nice.

Last I heard Ken's Dad should be able to come home tonight...sad that he couldn't be at the services but probably best in the long run..He may have endedn up being a bigger part of the burial than he wanted!
