So I am working like hell to lose weight and have been stuck for almost a year. Been able to pretty much maintain what I lost but still, nothing.
It can't be a coincidence that I stopped losing at the same time I stopped getting my monthly friend, do I need to use those stupid terms here?
Anyway, seems to me there has to be a connection....but what?

I'll take my chances and self diagnose...Not a fan of Dr.s He would tell you to try sensa or something stupid like that.

i am a doctor, just not the right kind for this kind of work.
i do know this, menses is very serious business.
depending on your age, if you have an interruption or stoppage of menses you should get to the leech pronto.
i don't like medical doctors either, but i'm sure glad they're out there.
have you done your internet homework ?

I come from a family of early menopause women. I have asked doctor to check my hormones but she sees no point. Of course not, it's not your body. What the is it to her if she checks them. Get so pissed.
I have done my hw and I need my hormones checked!! Going to an endocrinologist but not till January so hoping he will be more open to it.
According to my doctor you only need to worry if you've been menses free for a year or longer then get it again.
I don't know, just seems like there has to be a correlation between the two.

bottom line.
you need to get rid of that doctor. she sounds like a brute.

Oh I am fish. Looking for a functional medicine doctor. Discovered Jacks doc is in fact a FM Dr., but a guy...can I see a male doctor?
ARUG...I may have to. Geez I hate doctors.
On a brighter note I have started losing again, slowly but it's starting. Been doing intervals for my cardio and upped my intake of coconut oil (advice from nutritionist is see) pretty sure it's the intervals not the coconut oil either way I'm finally losing!
