The reclining rock, I mean chair I have to "sleep" in is on wheels, with brakes of course, which don't lock,so when I move, I roll, when I roll back I hit the o2 stuff, so I have to get up and pull it forward. Which means the blanket behind my head falls and I have to push out the chair my feet are on which in turns blocks the door and of course that's just when someone wants to come in
But wait you ask doesn't your chair have a foot rest, after all it's a recliner, why yes it does, and if my legs weighed 2 lbs it would probably stay up, but they don't, so ANY pressure at all causes it to collapse.
But pam, why on earth do you need a blanket behind your head. I'm glad you asked. Because the reclining mechanism is broke, and it reclines too far.
It's 11:30 Tuesday, I literally won't sleep until tomorrow night, it is just impossible, then I have a have a triple shift unless he goes home.
It's now 12:15am, he wants me to rub lotion on his hand, and I will. So very hard seeing him this way...so lucky yo have this time with him.

If he is out of his bed...take it! and get some sleep.
When are they supposed to do the scan to see if there is blockage? I still can't believe it is taking this long to find that out..Dianne was diagnosed and scheduled for bypass surgery in a couple days...I think they would have done it sooner but she said she had stuff she had to take care of first.
Hang in there..you have to or you'll fall out of your chair.

He has developed stage 3 kidney disease and all the tests involve some sort of dye which stresses the kidneys. Could damage them enough that he would need dialasys. Basically his body just isn't well enough. Kidney specialist comes in today to talk about options.

This has been coming on since June when he was told to see a cardiologist but refused. I get so mad at him for neglecting his health.

at this point are they more worried about his ticker or his kidneys?

Main concern is getting heart rate down, he may always be in afib, lots of people live with that. They expect kidneys to improve as fluid is released which in turn will also help lower his heart rate.

a-fib or tachycardia ?
another friend of ours is surviving body failures which would not have been survivable not long ago.
he has a device implanted near his shoulder that regulates his heart much of the time.
which sounds like nothing so very new, but this thing is.
so we must keep the faith. scientific miracles happen.
take care of yourself, too.

A-fib fish
Don't like doctors but thankful for them when we need them. And he needs them.
