Its offically the day after my upper body workout and still NO PAIN!! I am SO excited. I never thought I'd get here. Last time I hurt it again taking it to 85 lbs so I guess I shouldnt complain about the 105. I know I'm back to where I was last year but I'll get it back. Just thought I'd share that.

Thanks for the good news. That's the best news I've heard since..................well,you get the picture . This doesn't mean that you have complete license to go balls to the wall . Let's gradually attack this thing until you get the strength built back up in that shoulder and then we'll unleash you on a new PR. Great news, that's make my day.

I know, no balls to the wall. It was just a one time thing, I wont let it happen again. I wish I knew if it was the unexpected time off or the rehab work that worked the most. I've been doing the rehab stuff from EF about every other day but only going through half of it and though I'm not sure I'm doing them right I've been doing those arm swings fish wrote about. I'm still really cautious when I do those, I can still feel that I dont have the ROM I did before I hurt it. Oh, and the overhead presses, those I can still "feel". Anyway, I'm just happy I dont have any pain and will keep up with my rehab work and hopefully soon will be able to call it my prehab work.

Glad to hear.
So much of this anecdotal. Who knows what works for sure? No true controlled studie with humans, with any animal, so many individual differences.
Anyhow, on the arm swinging ...
If you do a slow front crawl, the swimming stroke, for a comfortable number of strokes, then take that stroke from a front-to-back plane to an across-the-body plane for a comfortable number of strokes, and then change to a back stroke, front to back and then across the body plane ...
Big clockwise circles and then big counterclockwise circles. smooth, controlled, no push, the range of motion increases naturally over time.
The clubs facilitate the exercise, but are not essential to it at this level.
It really worked for me. Maybe it’s helping you.
Peace,

Well whatever it is thats helping, I'm just glad its getting better. Now as long as I can control the urge to put just 5 more pounds on the bar I should be good.
