That I need computer glasses!!! Arug!! So I had my eyes checked about a month ago. I have a cataract why did my old doctor never know this? With the last pair of glasses I got last year I could not see well out of the left lens. I assumed they got the prescription wrong. Went back in and they checked out fine. Went back to the eye doctor and he said nope they were right. Not oh by the way you have a cataract and have for some time now. He NEVER either noticed it or told me.
So glad I switched doctors. He said it was really unusual for someone so young to have them. Yes I love him for calling me young! If only he had said young and trim anyway, after some research turns out dry eyes can either cause them or help exasperate them. I think you guys know I have 25% paralysis on they left side of my face from bells palsy thats why you will rarely see pictures of me, I look so deformed in pictures. Its so hard for me to look at.
Anyway I am unable to blink my left eye totally all the time, I have to think about closing it. Actually its such a part of what I do I think I just do it, not enough apparently. I was never told to keep drops in my eyes or anything. I put them in if it feels dry but I think maybe I've just grown so accustomed to it being dry that I don't notice.
Makes me so mad that no one caught this until now. New doc said it wasn't something that just came on fast.
He recommend vitamin c, he said it seems to offer the best hope to help them from becoming worse but the jury is still out on it.
So went to get my glasses, I'm still new to the glasses world and the gal says, I can make you all kinds of glasses from this prescription driving glasses, computer glasses, etc, what ever you need. Thought, well why can't i just use these glasses. Well I have discovered when I look at this computer I have to tilt my head back all the way to see anything out of my bifocals. Right now I have the type set so big I feel like I'm 100 years old!!! So I guess I'm off to get computer glasses. Getting older can suck.
