Ok so I'm a few days late. Didn't really do much, shoveled out from the snow, avoided my brother, went to work.. . oh yeah, made mac & cheese for dinner. Lol

Hope you all had. A good day. Been having computer issues so getting on has been a problem and to be honest was just lazy at firing up the other one.lol

Different without Mom, I think I'm ok with her not being here... the harder part is remembering how it used to be... I'm having some trouble with that... I'll be fine though. January is on the way.

Hope you had a good shopping spree with Kara on Friday Pam..... another 25 hours?

Thanksgiving is my favorite.

But it has always been true for me that the holidays in the first year after a death in the family are hard.

Well I'm even later. Yep, we shopped for 25 hours but ya know what, I didn't feel as tired as I usually do. Usually we have take a short nap in the car, we just kept going this time. We saved a bundle this year, really got some good deals. Got all my nieces and my nephews girlfriend done for $40!!! We got in on a buy 3 get 3 free and we each had a $10 off coupon on top of that AND a coupon for a free one. That was probably our best deal.

Went to a jewelry store to look around. The gal asked if she could help us, said nope just looking we will let you know. She then followed us ALL around the entire store. It was SO annoying. No way will I buy when you do that.

Then there are the darn kiosk sales people. They just mob you as you walk by. So I discovered the trick was to put your phone up to your ear and pretend you are talking lol it worked every time.

Thanksgiving was ok. I get how you feel Sue. For me its hard to listen to everyone talk about how nice it is to have the entire family there, the entire family isn't there. There was not one mention of Ryan, not even in the prayer...obviously he was mentioned in my prayer. Just thought as family they could recognize how hard it is for us and at least mention his name.
