So Dad and I went out to breakfast this morning. He was kinda wishy washy about going but we went. Ran into a couple that we knew years ago, she worked with my Mom and my Dad umpired for his ball team. Was nice seeing them both.
On the way home we always go down the road by the lake. Ice isn't quite all the way across yet, some open spots. Anyway I saw something on the edge of the ice..here it was a bald eagle, so we stopped to watch it then I wsomething moving in the open holes near him...here it was 3 otters! each poped up out of it's own open hole in the ice, one had a fish. Then the female eagle circled and landed by the male. The otters all went down and then a minute or two later came up in another hole further out.
Reminded me of when I was a kid, I spent alot of time on the lake and in the woods watching eagles, otters and a whole host of other critters.
I need to do more of that.
