Hope you both have a wonderful Easter in spite of everything that seems to go on in our lives.
Been a year today since my Mom Passed, I'm ok. It seems to have gone really fast. Lil shit seems exceptionally luvable with me today..not like him. That 6ths sense thing maybe.
I'm very greatful to have you both in my life, through good and not so good.
I hope you both have a great day.

Your mother's birthday in heaven.
Truly a happy birthday for her, if a sad one for you, and for all those who miss her.
After Mass, we "Sang with the Protestants" for the fourth year.
Great fun.
Four years ago one of their group invited us to sing with them on Palm Sunday and Easter as they were short a few voices as the snowbirds had not flown back.
Now an annual event for us.
You're right, Smoke. It is so important to focus on the good stuff.
Other than that, one would focus on the bad stuff,
and that's bad.

I too am grateful for both of you. It was fun cooking "with" you Sue Fish I never looked at it as their birthday in Heaven, its a nice way to look at it I hope you both had a wonderful day. We had a good day after Tanner got home from work. I will not get into how I feel about stores being open on Easter or any holiday. Kara did not want to look for a basket this year, of course she wanted the gift. They do both look for eggs, instead of the usual candy that used to be in the eggs I put money in them now. Tanner found all of the big money eggs.. I have to hide them better. My dad used to hide them so good we'd be looking for them a few days after Easter. We had a nice quiet dinner with just the 4 of us. It was sad that we couldn't be with the rest of the family but I have decided I need to get over that. Its a decision my brother has to live with. We did have a very nice time though. Of course Ryan was missed greatly.

The folks at the Congregational Church did not have the annual Easter Egg Hunt this year.
Too much snow still on the ground.

We've had Easters like that before. As I type we go from snow to sleet to rain and back again. We could use a good week of rain here.
