row had to go away for a week and lost some good chances at late rows. these things happen. this may well have been the last row on the water for this year. i have 85 to date. the nights are low 30s and the days 50s. thus the water is now cold enough to be dangerous, the boat is unstable by definition, and there is no help available if i go over.
hoping for a warm windless late morning, but the days dwindle down. watched the eagles working on the nest, bringing in branches longer than the bird's body. so maybe we will see each other again next year.

Better safe than sorry. Great that you were able to get out as much as you did.

yard work - finish cleaning up after the wood.
November is an outside work month, getting the properties ready for the snow.
might be able to row in the daytime, but the freezing nights make the water very cold.

still working hard getting the grounds at the two houses ready for winter.
yesterday had to move bags of concrete that have absorbed a lot of moisture.
they were heavy.
it is good that we have the experience of lifting. keep it close to the body, etc. same techniques, but add the fun of trying to get a grip on a bag instead of a bar.
setting up the gym at the other house for the winter, so will be back to daily posting.
