home from a cruise calling at ports in Spain, Monaco, France, Italy, and Greece.

think i have gained about 10 pounds.

birds active this early am

many goslings now fully fledged and about 3/4 adult size

two kingfishers arguing about just who is king of this spot.

loons actually sleeping on the water 5 feet from the boat.

sparrow size birds look like skipping stones as they seem to bounce from spot to spot on the water surface.

night air temps are 40s, water temp must be 70s so there is sea smoke to row through.

into cove and great blue heron went up very close to the boat.

nice watching the sunlight moving down from the tops of the trees as the sun rises.

the herons are very big birds.

4 feet tall 8 foot wingspan.

very impressive when it takes to the air close to the boat.

sea smoke and fog combined at times to make the disk of the sun look just like the moon.

I remember when my mom had to have one, she kept drinking the stuff and said nothing is happening!... then all you know what broke loose!.... all she did was laugh.
