62 cardio
sb c2 nt i am going to break the week into alternate days mwf primary resistance, tths primary cardio.
sunday off, and random days off as they happen maintaining schedule by day of the week.
cardio bike, row, ski involve just about every muscle in the old carcass, so there is a resistance benefit there. station to station resistance without rest periods gets the heart and lungs going, so there is a cardio benefit there. knees still hot.
sad that i resumed two variables at once: beer and deadlifting. it would be great if it is the beer, i would give it up in a heartbeat if i got cool knees. i only resumed beer because i lost the 10 lbs as resolved last year.
it would be sad if it is the deadlifting. finishing up the beer, and have stopped the deads. when the knees cool down (God willing) i'll try the deads again, this time without the beer. i want to loose another 10 anyway.

Sounds like a good plan. Even without a structured workout program.(at all) this past year I was able to drop about 12 lbs. Hopefully I can get through the rest of the holiday season and still be able to say that. Would luv to drop another 10+

sb warmup cable
my cable work involves an adjustable inclined plane with a sliding sled on rails. the steeper the plane, the greater the resistance. it was an old concept in old gyms, but got a new life with totalgyms. level one i do rotator cuff work and warm ups for everything else. first three levels include giant circles both ways, low back stretches and "reverse sit ups", and, warm up for chest, back, and shoulders. second three levels include pullups, overhead presses, chest presses, and rows.
i do 10 reps and there is no rest station to station, so there is the cardio effect.

push-pull, or something like it. trying to target complementary muscle groups.
looking for exercise that involves more rather than specific muscles. row, bench press pull up, military press also targeting erector spinae. hard to hit legs when knees are hot, but if i row hard on cardio day...

the fall has been wet and cold, so i did not get the grounds work done. today was sunny and warm, so i did get some of it done. a couple of hours worth, anyway

12/16 long beach walk today bike warmup cable work getting used to some of the movements. military presses and pull ups x 10 at highest level of the sled.

we have been getting the beach walks in on a regular basis. beach combing lots of sand dollars.
knees not good. changed too many variables.
