seems that any thing, injury or inflammation, takes a long time to get better.

How far are you from that gas explosion?

about 90 miles, fewer as the crow flies.

knew nothing about it until i read your post, then looked it up.

thank God they evacuated the building early when they smelled the gas.

sad that the fireman died.

my left leg is giving me trouble from the hip to the foot.

does not affect the rowing, thank goodness.

we leave 10/3 so i have 10 days to get 3 more outings to get to 100 days for this season.

and perhaps a little over, if the weather is good.

i'll have the entire winter to find out if the rowing is causing the leg and foot problems.

trees are turning at the lake.

warm so we spent time at the ocean.

out even earlier to miss breezes.

was in the boat, on the water before it got light enough for me to realize i had left my eyeglasses in the truck.

had an impressionistic painting kind of morning.

ok, because the leaves are turning, and the dawn was a light show.

well, i've got my hundred + for this year.

my left leg is telling me that there is a  nerve impingement somewhere, and we all know repetitive motion should be avoided.

this getting old is painful.

but there are only a few days left this year.

we leave on 10/3.

10/29 the annual golf outing.

nobody remembers the first outing, but it must be 35 years ago at least.

leg hurts, but had to go play.
