been doing all kinds of work directed at my back. walking 2 or3 miles a day lots of stretching have been on the AirDyne a few times. club work to keep the shoulders loose.
all in all, trying to keep fighting.
we are away for a few days, but i'll post up the mri report so you can read about an old, arthritic, high mileage back that has taken a few injuries in its time.
i think it's getting better, but it is slow going.

Halfway through the month and this my second post. the back has improved over time to the point that i have hope of rowing again. i have been to see two docs and a pt. they have absolutely nothing to do with the improvement. which is ok. all i want is the improvement over time. which is clearly indicated by the literature on the net.
i have been away for a couple of weeks. a friend of mine, the mother of a very good friend of mine, died at 93 after suffering enough to pay for her sins. we spent a week consoling our friend in NYC.
then a week with the baby in CT.
Thanks, Smoke for your annual Christmas gift. Our tree displayed it happily. since got home AD and stretching. have to post the routine, maybe tomorrow.
keep the faith.

snow went walking in the woods, bushwacking, actually, and that is exercise. stretching, etc.
if you have back pain in the am which goes away during the day, try to change your sleeping posture. works for me.

Your welcome Fish. I have customer that says if it weren’t for our ornaments their office tree would be bare. I have another friend that keeps a bare Christmas tree up so nice his wife was put in a nursing home and he has only my ornaments on it.

long long woods walk. went a fair bit out of the way, but travel was on broken trails, so three hours or so snowshoe trekking was nice.
i know that my days for this sort of thing are numbered.
do it while you still can.

say hello to the village idiot.
that snowshoe outing has set my knees on fire again.
we were over three hours trekking over rough terrain.
but so damn what ?
it was a wonderful long walk in the woods.
have to find the happy medium
which always makes me think of Sybil Trelawney with a couple of drinks in her.
today beach walk and stretching.

long beach walk some stretching, but the left knee is discouraging. sleeping posture change seems to help morning back soreness. although i can't tell if i maintain the posture change if i am asleep.
