I've been getting the work in on a regular basis.
Airdyne clubs stretching swiss ball work
beach walks woods walks
1/1 a dear family member died. another just announced she is in serious trouble. they sewed her back up and sent her home.
the country seems to be dying, too.
so i've been somewhat depressed and distracted.
I've been getting the work in, though.

Hey Fish! It’s been awhile, and yes it’s all on me. I’m so sorry for your loss. I will hold you in my prayers. Things are not going well for our country that’s for sure. It was really getting to me so I don’t even turn the TV on until evening. If there’s something I need to know someone will let me know. It was just getting overwhelming.
Glad to hear from you again. It’s nice to be back and actually have something to post about.

Still at it. Functional fitness.
The Airdyne offers torso and arms push pull at varying angles and degrees of intensity. And of course, it is essentially a bicycle, so the entire butt, leg, & foot chain gets work.
The ball permits targeted core work with max protection for the spine. The doctors tell me I have an interesting spine.
I use 1-3-6 lb indian clubs to maintain upper body and shoulder range of motion and musculature.
Then there is the stretching, which pretty much can be broken down into Yoga poses and moves.
Sphinx and then Cobra are good for my complaints.
"McKenzie" has a lot of good stuff.
So I can still move about 100 lbs of wood a day from the pile to the wheelbarrow to the porch to the fire.
Functional fitness.

AD clubs stretching wood.
crunches on the swiss ball with full layback including some twists.
if it were not for the six packs, i'd have a six pack.

the usual stuff, but the rear leg lifts on the ball are a wonderful exercise.
i use a heavy duty anti fatigue mat for my floor exercises. put the ball on the mat, lie on the ball face down, grab the sides of the mat, and do the double rear leg lifts. as the balance point changes, i pull back on the sides of the mat as i move the ball from my navel to just below my neck, ie until i am at at least a 45 degree angle.
fun

ad clubs stretching
stretching includes work on the swiss ball, which is kinda fun.
wood. i count wood because i have to load a wheelbarrow, move it to the porch, load the carrier, move it to the stove, then load the stove. so there is a lot of all sorts of movement and some weight involved.
