When I cleaned out my parents house I had stuff all boxed up for auction….was tough going through it all emotionally! Wasn’t after any money from it, just wanted to get rid of it and go to some use. My nephew went to drop off the first load and the guy wouldn’t take it!… I was so pissed that I told my nephew to come to the shop and it all went in my dumpster…. A lifetime in a dumpster.
Sucked

8/5 no row weather 8/6 row red - eagle takes a big fish 8/7 row red - small birds look like stones skipping on water as they take insects
The young people across my family don't want any of my generations treasures, including some pretty valuable stuff. Fine furniture, for example.
It's true, Smoke. The things that were an important part of someone's life wind up in a dumpster. I guess whoever that someone was essentially winds up there too.

8/8 no row - had a good week, and am a little reluctant to go across the property on Sunday. 8/9 row red - guy in speedboat with neon blue lights. twice - wakes not too bad, but interesting to deal with in a shell.

the east side of the lake has very few camps, while the west side is camp, camp, camp with all their toys.
so i look east until the sun makes it difficult.
human nature is pretty silly.
i am rowing in an almost perfect location, and still find things i don't like.
foolish, but i am aware of it, so when it happens, i redirect my focus ASAP.
very very fortunate to have such a place to play.

I know exactly what you mean! The lake that I grew up on was very quaint. You can use an electric motor but I doubt now you could. The state decided about 5-6 years ago they the dam would not hold back a100!year flood…. Mind you there are a few state cabins along a short part of the creek so in reality those would be the only cabins effected. So they drained the lake a d left it go almost to swamp, got around to replacing the hand built stone dam that had been there almost 100 years. They claimed that the lake would be put back exactly as it was before…. Famous last words! It’s 4-6” at least lower than it had been, well overgrown and now we are having issues with having the weeds sprayed. They say it’s the same but it isn’t the same. Govt. Sucks at all levels.
