Beautiful moon early this morning.

about half the time glad to be in the more stable boat.

40 degrees

moonset is at 5:45 am, so the moon is low and the stars are bright when i leave the house and still bright when i get to the lake.

Orion very high in the sky.

then they begin to dim, and by the time i am on the water, they twinkle out.

sunrise is about 30 - 40 minutes after that.

not many days left this season.

@93 and counting.

visit the little one this week, so will miss a few days.

i adjusted the set up on the yellow boat, and got a wicked track-bite, aka boat bite or slide bite.

bruise that weeps blood.

nasty little problem.

left to see the little one on 10/21, so some days to heal.

weather looks pretty bad for the next few, so maybe more.

still ugly.

would like to get my century, and that will involve the yellow boat as the water is getting quite cold and the mornings are getting breezy.

cut off tube sock looks like the answer.

either that or

Duct Tape !!!!

I'm going to find out if it hurts to take duct tape off skin.

so i won't get my century in Oct, but there are a few days left before it's just too cold.
