what kinda blower you got ?
we picked up a Stihl backpack BR350 on sale.
nice, but i worry because it takes too much effort to start which makes me think i am going to have problems.
also, has to be stored where mice do not go up the tubes and nest in it.
they ate the starter wheel.
i try not to kill things.
other than mosquitoes and mice.
i don't like mice.
still bothers me when I find them not quite dead in the traps.
dead is ok. suffering is not.
i'm such a wuss.

Mighty Might Bought it off a friend a few years ago. Has a Briggs 8 hp motor on it. Works great when it works. Like ya say when it sits it’s not good. Neighbor is gonna work on it for me… thinks there’s crap in the carb.

change the air filter too.
there are some really good carburetor clean out videos on U tube.
just in case.
i did small carb work mostly on my motorcycle, 1970 Triumph Bonneville. 650cc double downdraft carbs. one carb for each cylinder. what a pain!
the thing i picked up on the u tube videos for garden machines is reaming out a bottom bolt port.

2500 steps. good for you. remember to do some swimming motions to keep your shoulders open.
i've been doing yard work. thank God for the stihl combination tool. so far this week the weed wacker, the brush cutter, and the pruning saw. then the backpack blower to clean up.
the backpack blower works well, but it's not light. can't just listen to my body to know when to stop.
listening to my body doesn't work anymore because it's yelling at me all the time.
so i keep the sessions relatively short, two hours or so.
this getting old is a series of disappointments.

I’ve been diligent with taking my turmeric concoction, actually putting it in with a spoon of sour cream…. I know sour cream isn’t the best vessel but I can get a good amount in it and it goes down easy. Really seems to be helping.

Heavy teaspoon… add sea salt if doing it as a tea
I like it better in the sour cream… about a tablespoon of sour cream and heavy teaspoon of mix.. also been adding some chia seeds to it too.

Happy Thanksgiving, Smoke ! my favorite feast. we did a butterflied leg of lamb. grilled it. a little more done than i like, but i was in charge of the meat. should stop at 130 and let it rest covered 15 or 20 minutes. i went to 140 & change.
broiled veggies.
put some ricotta in the mashed potatoes.
white sparkling wine.
i have very much wanted to go ice boating, but alas ... there is too much snow on Maine lakes as a rule. at least anywhere close to home.
i very much do like to sail. ocean, lake, river
biggest boat i have sailed:
i have sailed from Maine to St Croix through a hurricane. four of us on a 48 foot ferro cement home built cutter rig. 55 foot stick, and the seas were higher. over the horizon for two weeks.
smallest "boat" i have sailed:
i considered myself an expert high wind sail boarder in my time. don't know if anyone else thought so, but i was the only one out there. sail boarding seems to have gone out of favor.
i got a para kite because i wanted to set up on skis and ski-sail on the snow covered lakes. it was a pretty small kite and i got pretty good, but the kite broke, and i never got another. the forces were enormous.
now it's kites on the summer beach.
do what you can while you still can.

All sounds exciting. I’m not much for the ocean… I got sick years ago whale watching up by you…. Guy said drink ginger ale… yea just yaked bubbles.
Flew kites in Maine too, nothing extravagant just something to do on the beach.
