this am i was set to call the docs to make sure they were aware that the echo had taken place since they thought it was scheduled later, but before i called them, the cardiologist's office called me to set up an appointment for Wednesday.

The good news is that they didn't tell me to go directly to hospital.

i suspect ...

not too long ago - a couple of months, maybe - i experienced what i will call "an event".

almost could not breathe at all for some long minutes.

completely out of the blue.

really scary.

first and only time such a thing in my lifetime.

i'm calling it an event because if it was some sort of a heart attack (as i really suspect), i suppose they would have seen it by now on the ekg.

more on wednesday.

i am not sure about this guy.

it has been "don't worry, but take another test."

stress test, nuclear.

he keeps telling me nothing to worry about, but he keeps scheduling more tests.

i'm somewhat worried.

i searched the ecg results and had questions about one very important measurement.

he says he looked at the pictures and came to a different conclusion from that of the MD who did the initial reading.

but now, for the first time in my life, a doc wants me to take pills.

my reading seems to say that medication is indicated under the circumstances regardless, so i'll start tomorrow. 

and i know that things could be so very much worse.

Steps… aggravated… not sure why.
Oh did do some squats… 25 or so… been afraid to do them since my knee gave me trouble last year… I survived.

Fish I sure hope they get this figured out for you. I had issues with my heart after Ryan died. Was told it was nothing but put on something, can’t think of the name of it, to show my heart rate down. It was fun, didn’t like how it made me feel. I will hold you in my prayers, as always.

doing my reading, which is less than completely reassuring.

the physical sensations are quite unpleasant, and sometimes, well, frightening.

but i'm not dead yet !

Nothing worse than having to be your own doctor but seems so necessary. I feel for you fish. My dad had all sorts of heart problems but he never “felt” anything. My heart skips one beat and I feel it. I hate having to be on pills, well pill, they sure hold it over you to get you to do what they want.

I can imagine how scary all this is. I have a timer set several times a day to stop and pray, you are very prayed for. I hope you get this all figured out.

maybe 60 degrees here today !

i think i have made an effective squirrel barrier for the bird feeder using pieces from lobster traps that wash up on the beach.

and we have a tiny chickadee with either a damaged or deformed wing who looks like he is going to make it all the way through the winter.

we try to make sure he has water and food.

NC has named him, of course.
