NC had surgery on her hand today.

So far, so good.

Hope nothing serious.

Stenosing Tenosynovitis, aka Trigger Finger, together with Dupuytren's Contracture, aka Viking disease or Celtic Hand because of frequency in Nordic people.

Both on her dominant hand.

She is doing well, but surgery is tough and there were minor problems at the start.

still trying to get the new phones they gave us work like phones.

the things have 50 - 60 apps, and i am looking each one up to try to learn if i want them.

they're interesting, but i'm not interested.

I try not to get drawn into apps I don’t need.

i have managed to turn off "notifications" so the device acts like a phone.

i never knew why folks kept going to their pockets to drag ot their phones.

notification every time any app does anything.

people are crazy.

got the work in.

heart rate in mid 30s at times.

blood pressure cuff won't work if the HR is that low.

missed a couple of days of sinus wash, which makes a difference.

the smart phone lets us talk and text with our dear friend in Spain.

when i was older, poor connections and delay between send and receive.

now, like being in the same room.

these things are miraculous.

but they are in many ways, diabolical.

they canceled my nuclear test for tomorrow.

looks like the final straw for the trip to europe.

i was reluctant to get the jab before the heart thing.

now there's a war and

i can't get the final heart test until it's too late to get jabbed for the trip.

saw some folks at pt, but i really think i know more about this stuff than they do.
