Was 87 out and 87 in when I got home yesterday! ugh
Did put the ceiling fan on… not sure if it’s going to help or not.

At least the grass isn’t growing!

the fauna seems different this year. not as much.

today was pretty good.

one eagle

two cormorants

three loons

thirty geese.

and some stories.

the geese were a combined gaggle that i was able to get pretty close to.

the eagle was diving on the loons

the cormorants were sunning on a rock.

crested cormorants stand with their wings unfolded.

it's a sight.

And a partridge in a pear tree!
Too bad we can’t take some lessons from nature.

last two days nc eye surgery and first follow up appointment.

we were supposed to go to surprise party on coming monday, but could not commit because NC recovery from the two relatively minor surgeries.

too bad, very good 50 year friend's 70th.

mother used to say when RSVPing, if you can't say yes, you have to say no. maybe doesn't work when someone is planning an event.
