Went to chiro, work and got a short walk in…. Hoping to get a good one in tomorrow, didn’t want to throw my hip out again right away.

Hit the treadmill today, just didn’t feel like walking outside tonight. Little over a half hour but I did break a good sweat.

Got a walk in today, thought I was going at a pretty good pace but Fitbit says otherwise… what does Fitbit know!

I spent some time tuning in my "perceived exertion" skills. this while doing heart rate training.
used a heart monitor and paid attention to how i felt at various heart rates.
this is the book, Precision Heart Training by Burke, but there are many newer ones.
got good at it, which is what they said would happen. had to re-calibrate from time to time as fitness level rose and fell. and it was a good indicator if i had some systemic weakness - sick or injured.
it was pretty cool.
so you can tune in on your fit-bit readings and then get a lot of info from your walking sessions. keep a log, and learn a lot.

I’m done “Thinking “ about working out… had/have a heart rate monitor, done with the logging and over complicating it. Really was just an observation that it’s taking me more effort to get zone results.
Guess walking is working somewhat.
