Gaines a few over the holidays and got way off track!
Back on track this morning… out for a walk, 3 miles

70 has proved to be an ugly number for me.

thank God i worked out over the years to have a reserve of strength now, when it is vitally important.

we took down some of the Christmas decorations today, and looked at the "Smoke ornament tree".

i forgot to send our thank you note for this year's decoration.

I have a vendor of mine I always send to, she said if it weren’t for our ornaments their office tree would be bare.

we have about 10 hardwood trees that need to come down.

firewood $310 a cord cut and split these days.

Neighbor gets full log length.
All I did this time was run the chainsaw.

I’ve helped him in the past cut-split-stack
He does have a log splitter, not sure my shoulder could handle an ax anymore…. Maybe I should try it, good therapy!

Walk hour outside… got me a carhart hoodie for Christmas…. Coming in handy!

i like carhart stuff.

Pricey, but good.

I've got an old hooded lined duck vest.

don't think they make it anymore.

I enjoy chainsaw work.

we have a couple of midsize saws, a husky and an echo.

What chainsaw do you use ?

how often do you sharpen it ?

after a few sessions i find it relaxing to clean the saw and sharpen the chain.

like to see chips fly instead of dust, and no burning on the cuts.

turn the bar over, too.

I was using his this time, I have the same one.
He usually cleans and sharpens every other time using them… he’s a mechanic so takes much better care of his stuff than I do.

Worked all weekend so no chance to get a walk in… maybe this week I can sneak one in.

Not able to get any workouts in.
Did manage to sneak in a much needed massage!

i have had one massage in my life.

i think maybe that it takes a few just to get the muscles ready to really benefit, and then regular massage to maintain.
