Walked outside hour. Are you familiar with Wim Hoff?… the ice man Interesting guy.
Tried to incorporate some deep breathing while walking… Fitbit says I was in a higher fat burning zone… will have to try it again.
Cold and gray, cold wind coming across the far end of the lake… cold on the face. Reminded me of being on the lake in the winter as a kid, skating or snowmobiling, ice boating… same cold crisp air but ya didn’t care.

The Kid !!! Therapeutic massage, don't I wish. Can't let anyone touch my back, though.
Went to physical therapist and got hurt, yet again. Not necessarily his fault. The Dr didn't give him a diagnosis, so he did some wrong stuff. I didn't know until I got new pain and looked it up. PT and I don't seem to go together. Unless I design it myself.
Yup, who doesn't know about the Ice Man ?
As for breathing, I have done breathing exercises for decades.
Lots of different techniques from Yoga Pranayama.
Good for getting to sleep, too.

Well she’s a kid to me. She came to work for me when she was 19, was with me for 10 years.
She’s different… she really knows her stuff.
I don’t like how pt’s and Dr’s play…. Can’t get a scan till ya go through pt…. How does pt know what’s really going on without a scan… stupid system.

i hope you've got a scoop.
I just did a search, and i've been touting these scoops on this site since 2009.
Another search: looks like you first mention "The Kid" in 2007, and it sounds like she "arrived" late 06.
And more: perogies at Christmas and on your Birthday !!!
"Celery, onion and bacon would be fried up and added to a heaping pot of mashed potato's. Dough would be rolled out by hand and the "special" cutting glass would be brought out to cut each circle. They would be filled, boiled and then put into a roasting pan with butter to keep warm. Later all the men and kids would gather round the table and litterally gorge themselves...rumor has it that I have (had) an Uncle that could down about 50 of them...I didn't know My Uncle Ralph in his younger days but somehow I'm sure he could."
We are making ravioli with the pasta roller and cutting them with a glass, using a fork to seal the edges. We want to make some perogies !
What was the circumference of your cutting glass ?
About how much filling each?
Please send us some perogie recipes and directions !

Omg you’re so organized it’s sickening! Lol We actually had metal cutters made x 4.5” round 10 c flour 6 eggs Salt Water for the dough. Best to mix it and let it rest awhile before rolling. We used a pasta maker to make the sheets.
Filling can be whatever mixture you like. I like potato, bacon & cheese. You don’t want the potato too loose.
Sorry this isn’t more exact.

it was nice to read some fond memories.
not to mention that it seems there are as many recipes as there are ethnic families out there.
i have learned this:
the poles cut the dough before stuffing, the italians measure filling before cutting.
watch at about 12:30 to see how nona makes them. and a raviolo look just like a pierog.
