Sat most of day, car to a funeral for neighbor. Did come home and got in an hour walk.

Walked this morning, only 45 min but went a harder route, trying to get my hr up a bit.
Now making fresh garlic/parmigiana knots to take with for dinner. Going to a neighbors.

warm, yes, but we can work outside now !
Easter was a big holiday when I was a kid. Folks now don't seem to celebrate it as we did.
we did some of the most inspiring vocal music on the past Easters. Too bad Covid still has some things closed up.
the lilies are beginning to bloom.

Did a little yard work, not much worked this morning and tired. Waiting for the rain to come.
Started Keto a couple days ago, it’s not bad but I’m surprised that I get hungry, guess it must be working.

i think i'm too old for Keto.
always interested, but a little afraid.
i had a friend, she's gone now, who went on a keto style diet many years ago. she was a brilliant woman, but she was morbidly obese, i mean to say her mobility was seriously affected. to watch her eating bags of pork rinds broke my heart.
of course, that's not a true Keto style diet, but a distortion.

I don’t plan on being on as a lifestyle, I need to get my metabolism back in sync and lose some weight… eating bags of pork rinds aren’t the way to do it!

Spent about 2.5 hours out in the garden, got beds ready, moved some garlic and planted some snow peas.

Not really working out but getting steps in. Keto is going really well! I wish I would have tried it before. I’m basically giving myself about a 4-5 hour window to eat, usually between 2:00-7:00 ish. Protein & Veg, really not many carbs at all. Down almost 10 lbs!

i wonder if the human body needs to be a little confused from time to time.
then it figures it out, everything stabilizes, and it's time to try a different, but still not unhealthful diet.
i never understood why simple calorie reduction would not work. of course, drastic calorie reduction will, but that's not healthful. over the last few years i have discovered that it is not a simple thing.
i hope you can find time and opportunity to get some good exercise.
