i really am happy for you.
it is not easy, in fact sometimes i think it is not possible.
when you say "solid 16"...
of course, maybe it's the pickle-balls.

sorry to hear about the smoke. forest management with controlled burns or controlled numbers of foraging animals - goats for example.
i simply do not understand folks who are against controlled burns.
glad to hear your early stuff is greening up. we are off to a late start this year.
think i told you that i did get some chain saw work in. tried to get the mower going, but looks like i have to do the carb again.
a little tired, my mower and me.

Got my ass up and out the door by 6 am for a walk. My usual route, about an hour. Still doing keto and can’t seem to budge the scale. 4% carbs yesterday it should be moving!

Huge pine branch came down at work yesterday, had to cut it up, one little mishap ( branch was across drive and about 16-18” round) got to last couple cuts and it gave way, got thrown about 10 feet off second rung of ladder! Never lost the chainsaw!
I’m ok, some road rash and I’m sure I’ll be sore for a couple days. Getting too old for this chit!

Oh, Smoke, thank God you are not more seriously hurt !
a testament to you that the saw did not get away.
recognizing tension and compression is not always easy.
i've said it before, i am more afraid of my chainsaws than my firearms.
close call, girl.
don't do it again.
