Well here we are in the home stretch of a tough year!
Got my walk in this morning, foggy & brisk… I think bear is still open and I’m walking in black jeans and black hoodie! I like to live on the edge sometimes.

NC gets her walk in almost every day. Usually along the ocean.

my biopsy of 12/1/22 came back dirty on what was Christmas eve in 22. had the journey on gurney after that with lots of self advocacy to keep it moving on.
radiation treatment May-June 23
scheduled for blood tests every 3 months. great "journeys on gurneys" stories about the experience and my new oncologist.
spent more time discussing the warrior ethic in the Iliad vs the Mahabharata than my situation.
smiles through tears.
it can take about a year to establish a base PSA number to monitor effectiveness &/or recurrence.
research and self advocacy is absolutely essential in these situations.

yes, it's cold out there.
and i would not mind a winter without snow.
in the last few days i have been compiling our propane and wood costs over the last few years.
wood is work, but, including all costs, we have saved a lot of money.
just in case we might need it someday.
and wood is exercise !
